It is customary as a form of greeting here in Hong Kong to ask each other ‘Are you busy?’. The customary answer is to say ‘Yes’, as being busy is our symbol of success and this equates to meaning ‘We are well’. | But my body has never concurred to this belief. When rushing I feel everything takes longer to complete, feels more complicated and there is no joy in the body doing the tasks. If you ask if me if I am busy, I will tell you being busy is not my choice, but I do work 15 hour days. |
